Arsenal & Manchester United join Chelsea in race for major attacking talent

Chelsea are facing competition from two of their Premier League rivals for a top target.

101GreatGoals covered a report from Football Insider on Friday, which claimed Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is keen to complete a summer move to Chelsea as Mauricio Pochettino ramps up his interest in his fellow countryman.

The report stated that Martinez has let it be known to those close to him that he would be keen to speak to clubs this summer, especially those in the Premier League and is certainly attracted by a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

And now, it looks as though more Premier League sides are showing an interest in the hitman.

A report from Spanish outlet Fichajes claims that the Italian outfit are under financial pressure and they will have to sell players to balance the books. The 25-year-old Argentine international is reportedly a target for clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

This is likely bad news for Chelsea as whilst they have the financial muscle to compete with Arsenal and Manchester United, the Blues do not have any form of European football to offer Martinez next season, whereas both United and Arsenal have Champions League football.
