PSG have refused to comment on the 25-year-old’s absence but he will not get a final chance to say goodbye to the travelling fans.

Mbappe recently released a video confirming he will be leaving his hometown club this summer, with Real Madrid his likely next destination.

The World Cup winner has scored 256 goals for the club and he will leave as PSG’s all-time top goalscorer.

Although Mbappe may have an injury keeping him out, his name is not on the unavailable list released ahead of the game.

It has led to speculation over his involvement ahead of the French Cup against Lyon next weekend.

It would mark a bitter end for Mbappe if he does not pull on the PSG kit for one final time, with reports suggesting he argued with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi ahead of his departure.
