Liverpool star Luis Diaz has scored a stunning goal for Colombia as they continue to battle for a spot at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Diaz was brought to Liverpool from FC Porto for an initial fee of £37.5m in January. And the winger has since greatly impressed across all competitions for the Reds.
In fact, despite only being at the club a few months, it looks as though Diaz could be in line to replace one of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah in the coming years.
The South American is fast, skillful, not afraid to run at defenders and is already adapting to Jurgen Klopp’s system well.
Now, during his first international break since his move to England, Diaz has continued to shine for Colombia.
La Tricolor were in World Cup qualifying action late on Thursday evening versus Bolivia.

Will Colombia make it to Qatar?
The result moved Colombia up to 6th in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying, one point behind Peru in 5th who are occupying the spot that will see one South American nation advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.
As there is only one set of South American World Cup qualifying games left, Colombia – five points behind the top-four who automatically clinch a spot in Qatar – must finish in 5th if they are to have any chance of making it to the World Cup.
But as Peru are one point clear and set to take on a poor Paraguay side in their final game, it does not seem too likely.
