The headline fixture of Saturday’s slate of Serie A matchups is set to play out at the Mapei Stadium.

The clash in question will see Sassuolo act as hosts, in a meeting with Juventus.

Heavyweights Juve will head into proceedings as understandable favourites, owing not only to the superior talent possessed across Max Allegri’s squad, but also their encouraging start to the new campaign.

The Bianconeri, after a tumultuous term last time out, sit 2nd in Italy’s top-flight, owing to a record of three wins and a draw.

Sassuolo, on the other hand, have struggled across their four outings, slipping to a trio of defeats, to tumble to 17th.

The matchup will be part of Gameweek 409 on Sorare Football, and 101 Great Goals has broken down the key statistical takeaways ahead of the game.

Sassuolo vs Juventus Sorare tips

Sassuolo

Domenico Berardi

On the back of a summer which saw speculation rampant surrounding his name, wide-man Berardi is set to line out against the club most hotly tipped to secure his signature. The Italian international emerged as a leading target at Juventus over the summer, amid the Old Lady’s efforts to replace the outgoing Angel Di Maria. In the end, though, Sassuolo stood firm, going as far as to banish their attacking talisman to the stands for their first two outings of the season. He has since returned, though, and notched twice in two appearances to date. Such efforts have given rise to respective Sorare scores of 91 and 58, with Berardi, on his day, remaining one of Serie A’s biggest threats in the attacking third.

Jeremy Toljan

Next on the list of potential Sassuolo pick-ups this week comes Jeremy Toljan. After a difficult opening to the campaign, defender Toljan has since managed to turn things around, at least on a personal level. The German laid on goals in each of Sassuolo’s last two outings, against Verona and Frosinone. His side’s continued struggles at the back, though, make Toljan something of a riskier pick. All told, across their four league fixtures to date, the Neroverdi have shipped a concerning nine goals.

Andrea Pinamonti

Like Toljan, Andrea Pinamonti, too, has enjoyed a major upturn in form over the course of the last couple of weeks. After failing to find the net in either of Sassuolo’s first two Serie A outings, the 24-year-old has since managed three in two. This includes a brace last time out, en route to an impressive 84-point Sorare haul. Expect Pinamonti to feature from the off once more this weekend, and, in the case of any half-chances dropping his way, make his impact very much felt at the Mapei Stadium.

Juventus

Dusan Vlahovic

Turning attentions towards Saturday’s visitors, Dusan Vlahovic is another who will have his sights firmly set on adding to his tally in front of goal. The Serbian, on the back of a tumultuous summer, has provided the Juventus faithful with a timely reminder of his talents over the early weeks of the season. Four Serie A fixtures to date have given way to four goals and an assist, with his Man of the Match display against Lazio last weekend having set the stage for plenty more to come. On current form, Vlahovic is establishing himself as something of a Sorare must-have.

Federico Chiesa

Expected to join his attacking partner in crime in spearheading the Juve charge in Emilia-Romagna, meanwhile, will be Federico Chiesa. Like Vlahovic, wide-man Chiesa has put a summer packed with transfer rumours firmly behind him, to guide the Bianconeri to 2nd in the Italian top-flight standings. Moved infield from his customary place on the left flank, the former Fiorentina man has adapted in impressive fashion, looking a constant threat in the attacking third. Sorare scores of 76 in two of the last three gameweeks, meanwhile, should pick up yet further as Chiesa continues to work his way back towards full fitness.

Manuel Locatelli

Another absolutely vital cog in Max Allegri’s setup in Turin, Manuel Locatelli, over recent weeks, has finally begun to showcase signs of the player once touted as one of the finest up-and-coming talents in the Italian game. The 25-year-old remains one of the first names on the Juve team sheet every week, and saw his more decisive passing efforts give rise to an assist for Vlahovic against Lazio last time out. If Locatelli can continue to add to his game in the final third against his former club on Saturday, a big points haul could be in store.
