I'm probably best described as a genuine old fashioned punter, who manages to blend that experience with the latest developments in the gambling industry. From filling out my first ever football coupon in the smoke filled local betting office, I've come a long way. Alongside 20+ years betting myself, I've been a gambling writer for over a decade now, focusing on the biggest news stories, reviewing the latest brands, and being excited about new technology and ways to bet. I remember when gambling ended at 3pm on a Saturday, before the days of in-play betting and TV companies deciding when games kick off. But the betting landscape is now much better. For almost everyone, it doesn't matter what you want, or when you want it, there will be a bookmaker out there offering it. Sadly, I wasn't one of the millions who apparently backed Leicester to win the Premier League, but I dined out on Kauto Star's Gold Cup record on many occasions. Throw in the Denver Broncos on a Sunday night, and a Barnsley FC season ticket, and you can see my personal choices are not always right, but I do try.
