Chelsea transfer news: Ronaldo latest, signing close & duo offered to Blues

Here is the latest Chelsea transfer news.

First up, Chelsea are very close to signing Molde’s David Datro Fofana in January, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Chelsea have reached full agreement with Molde, with personal terms still being discussed with the player. The 2002-born Ivorian will be signed for over €10m.

Next, according to Nizaar Kinsella, in his report for the Evening Standard, Atletico Madrid have offered Chelsea two forwards: Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha.

The Blues will be in search of a forward in the January transfer window after Armando Broja suffered a season-ending injury.

The report further mentioned that the club will have a chance to sign Barcelona’s Memphis Depay too. Chelsea have shown interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Youssofa Moukoko as well.

Elsewhere, ccording to The Athletic, Cesare Casadei is one of the players that could potentially be loaned out in January by Chelsea. He was signed by the Blues from Inter Milan last summer.

Despite Football.London claiming that Chelsea might once again chase Ronaldo in January to solve their attacking problems, Romano has cleared the air shrouding the Portuguese’s transfer:

“I can confirm again that Chelsea are not currently in the race for Cristiano Ronaldo, there are no negotiations ongoing, even though Todd Boehly was interested in the summer, before Thomas Tuchel blocked the deal.” explained Romano.
