Star Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrović has hit back at Premier League club Fulham after the Cottagers have been deemed to have priced the international forward out of a possible move to the Roshn Saudi League this summer, claiming to relatives will never play for the club again.
The 28-year-old Serbian record goalscorer, who remains the key attacking cog in the wheel at Craven Cottage across the last six seasons in the English capital, was recently linked with interest from Saudi outfit Al-Hilal as part of the PIF-backed assault on the summer market that has seen the top clubs in the Gulf Kingdom prize a cadre of talent away from Europe.

Looking to receive a potential big payday, Fulham reportedly slapped a £52m price tag on the former RSC Anderlecht standout to exact maximum financial gain if they were forced to part ways with their star striker, who was said to be open to a move in the wake of Al-Hilal fielding two separate bids for the player.
Mitrović is said to be angry enough over the situation that he has refused to ever feature again for the club and with three years left on his current deal that is valued at £80kweek, making him the second-highest earner behind Bernd Leno, Fulham may well be forced to come to the negotiating table with Al-Hilal in order to avoid having over £4m in yearly wages wrapped up in a player who is simply sat in dry hock along the Thames.
