Premier League giants Manchester United have been dealt a fresh, and potentially decisive blow in their pursuit of Napoli star Kim Min-jae, according to reports.
The name of stopper Kim has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Manchester over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This came amid claims that the South Korean, fresh off being crowned Serie A Defender of the Year, had been identified as the first-choice central defensive target on the part of the powers that be at Old Trafford.
In fact, some outlets went as far as to claim that a deal between United and Napoli is on the verge of being sewn up, with Kim eager to test his talents in the Premier League.
