Aston Villa head into the game on an impressive run of form. They have won three and drawn one of their last four league outings.
Their last outing was a 3-0 drubbing of Bournemouth and whilst they remain 11th in the division, that victory moved them to within four points of a European place.
Granted, it may be too late for them to mount a proper European challenge, but a win over Chelsea this weekend would give them a huge boost.
Like Villa, Chelsea sit four points off a European spot, with Champions League football now very much out of the question for Graham Potter’s side.

Matty Cash and Phillipe Coutinho continue to progress in their return from injury, but are not expected back until the 22nd of April.
On a more positive note, Leander Dendoncker and Boubacar Kamara should return from their respective wrist and ankle issues this weekend.
Jed Steer remains a long-term absentee with no return date.
