It’s third taking on first in League Two on Monday as Northampton Town meet with Leyton Orient with 10 points separating the two as league leaders begin to create a healthy gap at the top of the table.
Northampton slumped to a loss last Thursday against Swindon Town to move them further away from the top two. The Cobblers now sit five points adrift of Stevenage in second and 10 behind Leyton Orient.
They have still managed to win 12 games this season with four losses too, as Northampton remain the top scorers in League Two with 38 goals.
Leyton Orient are heading into this game after a rare two games without scoring. They avoided defeats in the 0-0 draws with Stevenage and Newport County, however, and still sit top by a comfortable margin.
Neither side is in great form right now and it should give Northampton a bit of confidence in getting all three points, as the away side have only lost four games this league season.
