13th and 18th will meet in League Two this weekend as Newport County play hosts to Doncaster Rovers at Rodney Parade with the two clubs separated by six points in the table ahead of the game.

It’s been a topsy-turvy season for Newport with them scoring the third-most goals in the bottom half of the table. On the other hand, with only six wins in the league so far, they still have a lot to prove. The club have also lost 10 games this season and head into this one off the back a win against Crewe Alexandra in League Two.

On the other hand, with them losing to MK Dons in the Football League Trophy and Derby County in the FA Cup, they have not been in great form. However, in beating Gillingham, they have now won their last two league games.

Doncaster, however, are in terrible form across the past month. They lost 1-0 in the FA Cup to non-league King’s Lynn Town, before beating Grimsby Town 3-1 in League Two. In the past two games, however, Rovers have lost 3-0 to relegation-fighting Colchester United and 2-0 to Walsall at home.

Doncaster are 13th in the league right now and have let in the most goals inside the top 13 teams with 27 conceded. They have, however, won eight games and have only lost to those below them in the table four times this campaign.
