Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has piled praise on the club’s supporters despite losing their unbeaten record this season.

The Ligue 1 champions went down 3-1 at home to Nice, their first defeat of the campaign.

However, the PSG fans were in full voice right until the final whistle, with their Champions League semi-final against Arsenal on the horizon.

And Enrique was quick to point that out, despite failing to pick up any points.

Speaking in his post-match press conference, the former Barcelona boss said:Β “I have never in my life seen fans like those of PSG. Today we were losing until the 90th minute and they didn’t stop singing.

“I can’t guarantee trophies. What I can guarantee is matching the level of the fans. What did I see? I’d sign up for that for Tuesday in London and for the return leg.

“A team that creates 30 goal-scoring chances, I’d sign for that right now, not for the result.

“We are by far the best team in France, we’ve shown it all year. And whoever wants to jump ship, let them jump. And now, let’s focus on winning the Champions League semifinals.”
