The two titans of Spanish football collide for the first time this season in El Clasico at Camp Nou on Sunday.

Barcelona lost 4-2 at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday but have been flawless domestically.

Luis Enrique’s side have won all nine of their Liga matches this season and each of their last 23 in the division, scoring at least twice in every league game at the Camp Nou in 2026/27.

Spain sensation Lamine Yamal comes into the Clasico with eight league goals this season.

Real Madrid arrive in confident mood after a 4-1 home thrashing of Leipzig on Wednesday, their fourth straight win in all competitions following a hard-fought home win over Villarreal, 4-3 comeback victory at Roma and 4-1 triumph against Sevilla at the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos have won seven and lost two of their nine league game and are sit six points behind Barcelona before head coach Jose Mourinho’s first Clasico since March 2013, when the Portuguese was in his first spell at the Bernabeu.

Mourinho has won five, drawn six and lost six of his 17 games against Barcelona with Madrid, going unbeaten in his last five, with three wins and two draws.

Last season, Madrid won the Clasico 2-1 at home in October. Barcelona prevailed in the Super Cup final 3-2 in Jeddah, then won the fixture 2-0 in May to clinch the league title.
