Preview for PSG v Lyon

It’s a proper top of the table clash in Ligue 1 on Monday as Lyon head to back-to-back Champions League winners PSG.

Both sides come into the game with identical record of four wins from seven games in a very tight league table.

In fact before Sunday’s action the top seven sides in France were separated by a single point.

PSG have won the league 12 times in the last 14 years while Lyon are looking for a first title since their own dynastic period of seven titles came to an end in 2008.

Team news

PSG beat Barcelona in midweek but at considerable cost. Winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffered a serious ACL injury, while Ousmane Dembele and Marquinhos are out for a few weeks due to thigh injuries.

Nuno Mendes is a doubt at left-back too with his own injury.

Lyon are hoping that Mohamed Ouedraogo and Nicolas Tagliafico are available after missing the Europa League game in midweek.
