The Stadio Diego Armando Maradona is set to act as host on Wednesday, October 12th, when Napoli and Ajax face off in the Champions League’s group stages for the 2nd time in the space of a week.
The former, of course, will head into proceedings hoping for more of the same, after emerging on the right side of the most head-turning scoreline of gameweek 3 in Europe’s elite club competition.
What would generally be regarded as a daunting trip to Amsterdam saw a rampant Napoli emerge 6-1 victors, owing to goals on the part of all of Giacomo Raspadori (2), Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Piotr Zielinski, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Giovanni Simeone.
