Everton table €30m bid for Udinese striker

Premier League outfit Everton have tabled an opening offer for a headline member of the attacking setup at Italian side Udinese, according to reports.

The subject of reinforcements up top, of course, has long proven a headline talking point on the blue half of the Merseyside divide.

This comes owing both to the ongoing fitness woes of star Toffees frontman Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Neil Maupay’s struggles to fill in for the England international.

The powers that be at Goodison Park, in turn, recently moved to bring in highly-regarded Sporting CP talent Youssef Chermiti.

Evidently, though, Sean Dyche and co. remain of the opinion that Everton’s frontline is in need of yet more fresh blood.

In turn, on Thursday, Everton have stepped up their pursuit of yet another chief target – Beto.

As per a report from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio:

‘Everton have offered 25 million (euro) plus 5 million in bonuses for Beto’.

Crucially, however, it is also noted that the Udinese hierarchy ‘want more’ for the club’s talented hitman.

A fresh round of negotiations have therefore been pencilled in, with both clubs hopeful that an agreement will ultimately be struck.
