It’s been a strong start to life in North London in the early doors of the 2023-24 Premier League season for new boss Ange Postecoglou after Spurs bagged a massive three-point haul in front of home support against Manchester United last weekend.
With four points taken from a possible six on the back of an opening day draw against a tricky Brentford at Gtech Stadium, the United result, one which saw Spurs come away justified winners, will no doubt boost confidence in the senior team after the departure of Harry Kane.
Tottenham now have a favorable fun of fixtures that begins with Bournemouth at the weekend before they also square off with Fulham and Sheffield United, leading up to the first North London Derby of the season against Arsenal in late September.
Predicted XI
Team News
Ange Postecoglou may face the prospect of being without key summer signing James Maddison after he picked up a knock in their win against Manchester United, and is currently listed as a doubt for selection, but the club will hope to have him back barring a late assessment. If he is available, it is likely he will start once more.
Ryan Sessegnon, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Bryan Gil are all still unfit for service and unavailable for selection.
Expect Postecoglou to name an unchanged XI barring Maddison’s availability.
