Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has, on Saturday, sent a message of well wishes to former teammate Lionel Messi, on the Argentine’s birthday.
For those not aware, seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi turns 36 today.
Despite coming to the decision to wind down his career courtesy of a move to Major League Soccer with Inter Miami, though, players, fans and neutrals alike have not allowed the latest milestone day in the life of football’s greatest ever performer to pass them by.
Birthday posts, tributes and messages of well wishes, predictably, have flooded in across social media throughout the day thus far.
And, as alluded to above, one such individual to have made his appreciation for Messi crystal clear a short time ago comes in the form of none other than Kylian Mbappe.
So long the subject of rumours and speculation, which pointed towards a rift between the pair in Paris, Mbappe, once more, has moved to shut down the media chatter.
