Steve Bruce got slightly hot under the collar when he spotted Rafa Benitez talking to the fourth official about time-keeping as Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones was taken to hospital after a a foul.
We think we can spot Bruce saying “F*** o** you fat Spanish waiter,” but we’re open to being corrected.

Its unthinkable of a Steve Bruce a Premier Manager to act like hooligan. You don’t behave like that to your peers! Disgusting!!!

F**k off you Fat Spanish Waiter? Dunno, just a stab in the dark

I dunno what he said, but I think Rafa’s dinner ended up down his legs.

To Lee,
Bear in mind his reaction was because Rafa wanted the ref to roll the Sunderland player off the pitch while the doctor had been called to check that he was safe to be moved.
The stretcher was eventually called for and Jones who was taken to hospital.
Possibly an over-reaction, but still quite understandable.
Its unthinkable that one manager would care so little about the health of another team’s player, frankly. And that is the truely disgusting part.
PS – The “Fat Spanish Waiter” comment was a reference to a chant from the Sunderland fans, it isn’t what Bruce was saying at al – just in case some people didn’t get the joke!!

To Peter:
You’re the one missing the joke here.
“Fat spanish waiter” is actually what they claim him to be saying, even though they are joking.

actually peter, you’re painting a totally different picture to what actually happened. i wont even have to tell what i think happened, il just let the facts do the talking.
rafa says after the game that he told the 4th official to “make sure he was adding on that time, and for some reason steve bruce had a problem with that”.
steve bruce says after the game that “sometimes we all say something, and then afterwards you think “i really shouldnt have said that”. it was nothing, just handbags”.
now tell me who seems to have made the infringement between the two managers, even if you asked them…
