The agent of highly-regarded goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina has, on Thursday, confirmed his client's desired landing spot this summer.

For those not aware, shot-stopper Slonina is currently making a name for himself in his home country of the United States.

This comes with the starlet, at just 18 years of age, having long secured no.1 status with the Chicago Fire, after making his way through the club's academy over the course of the last six years.

To this point in the current MLS campaign, with Chicago struggling badly at the foot of the Easter Conference standings, Slonina has nevertheless impressed, en route to clean sheets in five of his 13 appearances.

And such stellar form at such a young age, in turn, is long understood to have piqued the attentions of a number of European football's giants.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his client's future was put to Jaime Garcia, Slonina's representative.

And, despite alleged interest from England on the part of Chelsea and Wolves, Garcia made it clear that the prodigious young goalkeeper has set his sights on one destination and one destination only:

Real Madrid.

Rudi secured

Word of Slonina's desire of course marks the 2nd piece of transfer-related news involving Chelsea and Real Madrid to have taken its place front and centre in the headlines across the day to date.

The other? Antonio Rudiger's Bernabeu switch being made official.

After allowing the terms of his contract in west London to draw to a close, German international Rudiger opted to put pen to paper on terms with the European champions, committing to Carlo Ancelotti's troops through the summer of 2026.
