Daniel James reveals if he will celebrate for Leeds if he scores vs Manchester United

Daniel James has revealed whether or not he will celebrate if he scores against former club, Manchester United.

Manchester United and Leeds United will face off at Eland Road on Sunday.

James, especially with Patrick Bamford still out, is expected to be one of Leeds’ biggest attacking threats vs United this weekend.

But as he only left the Red Devils in the summer of 2021, will James celebrate if he scores against them?

Well, in a recent interview, James had that question put to him and stated: “Will I celebrate if I score? Of course I do.

“I have no hatred towards Man United. I left on good terms. I still have a lot of friends there. It’s a great feeling to score a goal. So of course I’ll celebrate.”

“Some people may call my time there a failure, but I played a lot of games, learned a lot, it was a great experience with high-level players.”

Leeds vs Manchester United

Manchester United head into the Leeds United game on a fairly mixed run of form.

The Red Devils did beat Brighton 2-0 in their last outing, which is a solid result considering what a solid team the Seagulls have become under Graham Potter.

However, before that win, United had drawn with Southampton and Burnley, as well as being knocked out of the FA Cup by Middlesbrough.

Leeds, though, are not exactly in the best of form themselves, and have shipped seven goals in their last three outings.
