Zlatan Ibrahimovic sets all-time Serie A record with first AC Milan goal of season

AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, on Saturday night, etched his name indellibly into the history books of Italian football.

Milan, and Ibrahimovic, were of course back in action a short time ago.

After bagging just a solitary point across their last two Serie A outings, the Rossoneri made the trip to Udinese, desperate for a bounce-back result.

When all was said and done, however, the woes of Stefano Pioli’s troops only deepened, en route to a 2nd defeat in three.

A dismall all-round showing on Milan’s part opened the door for all of Roberto Pereyra, Beto and Kingsley Ehizibue to find the net, en route to a 3-1 Udinese triumph.

As alluded to above, though, despite his side’s woes on the night, one man who did enjoy an outing to remember on Saturday comes in the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

And the Swede made no mistake this time round, rifling beyond Marco Silvestri for his first goal of the campaign.

Not only that, but, in the process, ‘Ibra’ made history, establishing himself as the oldest player to ever score a goal in Serie A:
