Footage of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo losing his cool has piqued widespread attentions online late on Thursday evening.
For those not aware, Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr were back in action a short time ago.
In a crunch showdown at the top of the Roshn Saudi League, Al-Nassr made the trip to Jeddah, hopeful of extending their advantage over title rivals Al-Ittihad.
When all was said and done at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, however, quite the opposite ultimately unfolded.
This came as a solitary goal on the part of Romarinho ten minutes from time proved enough to guide the evening’s hosts to the right side of a 1-0 result.

Al-Nassr, in turn, were ousted from their spot atop the table, with Al-Ittihad now leading the way with 20 games on the board.
In making his way from the field of play after blanking for the 2nd game running, CR7 was targeted by sections of the home crowd, who came together in a chorus of:
‘Messi, Messi, Messi’
And the veteran attacker, in turn, lashed out, taking his evident frustrations out on a number of water bottles pitch-side:
