Manchester United need a striker in the summer transfer window.

One of the main names linked has been Victor Osimhen, who is currently dominating in the Serie A with soon-to-be champions, Napoli.

And now, the Red Devils have learned what they must pay to sign the hitman.

Il Mattino reports Manchester United are indeed eager to sign the striker this summer, with Osimhen likely to be keen to listen to the club should they push forward with a bid.

But Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli have decided the player will not leave for a penny less than €150m as the club are under no financial pressure to sell.

Osimhen himself, meanwhile, was asked specifically about United’s interest earlier this month, telling Sport1: “I don’t know what the future holds. I think I’m on the right track.

Such a fee would break the British transfer record, which currently sits at £106.8m after Chelsea paid up to sign Enzo Fernandez.
