CalcioMercatoWeb revealed this week that Jurgen Klopp is desperate to sign the 22-year-old
Vlahovic joined Juventus in January this year after being heavily tipped to make the switch to Arsenal.
The Old Lady splashed £66.6m to sign him but he hasn’t quite been able to replicate the form that he showed at Fiorentina in his final two seasons there.
However, the Serbian has still managed to score seven times for Juventus this season in 15 appearances.
He has also been backed by one of the world’s best forwards in Kylian Mbappe.
The French superstar said in an interview a few months ago, as quoted by Football Italia: “Vlahovic is a quality striker, he is one of the best of his generation. He can do much better going forward, he has so much to give.
“He has already shown so much, Only time will tell, but I don’t think it is a big risk for me to say that he will be a top striker in the coming years.”
Should Liverpool indeed sign Vlahovic, Jurgen Klopp could opt to switch to a two-man strike force or simply move Darwin Nunez to the left-wing, where he plays for Uruguay and has also done so on a few occasions for Liverpool since his summer switch from Benfica.
