Reports coming out of Italy claim Juventus are interested in one of Arsenal’s top midfielders.
Most Gunners supporters would likely agree that their club currently need to strengthen in two key areas. These are at centre-forward and in central midfield.
Whilst both issues will need to be addressed in 2022, it has become obvious of late that the latter represents the more pressing of the two.
Mohamed Elneny is out of contract in north London at the end of this season.
Elsewhere, the Gunners have loaned Ainsley-Maitland Niles to AS Roma for the remainder of the campaign, and his future at the club does not look particularly bright.
This leaves just the inexperienced Albert Sambi Lokonga, Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka as senior central midfield options at the club.
Juventus causing Arsenal issues again
So ,a summer move for a central midfielder whilst also keeping hold of their current main trio would make sense for the Gunners.
Now though, it appears Serie A powerhouse Juventus, who have already beaten Arsenal to Dusan Vlahovic and Manuel Locatelli over the last year, look set to cause the north Londoners some more issues in the transfer market.
According to football.london citing Italian outlet Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in Thomas Partey.
The Ghanian has been in superb form of late and losing him as he finally begins to show his true colours at Arsenal would be a big blow for Mikel Arteta and co.
It is not just Partey Juventus are said to be after, however, with the Serie A powerhouse also interested in Arsenal target Renato Sanches.
