The player in question is former Bayern Munich man, Thiago.
Liverpool were believed to be open to the idea of selling midfield star, Thiago, this summer.
According to a report from the Telegraph last month, the Reds would allow the 32-year-old to leave over the coming weeks as they could bring in a fee for the midfielder and get his high wages off their books, rather than losing him for free next year when his current Liverpool deal runs out.
Saudi Arabian sides are thought to be interested in Thiago but according to recent comments from Jurgen Klopp, Thiago is staying put.
When discussing official interest in the player, Klopp said: “No, there is nothing. Honestly. Thiago is now training. Nobody asked.
“He came in and asked about his role and we spoke. Super experienced player, he stepped up in that department. He has only been in team training for a week but very vocal, he is going to be very helpful for us.”
