Fulham star agrees to Saudi switch just weeks after signing new contract

A headline member of the attacking setup has agreed to the terms of a contract with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Shabab, according to reports.

The player in question? Willian.

The name of wide-man Willian, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines at Craven Cottage over the course of the last couple of weeks.

This comes after the Brazilian appeared to have put to bed the ongoing speculation surrounding his future by putting pen to paper on a new Fulham contract.

In turn, it will no doubt come as nothing short of a shock to the powers that be in west London to hear that Willian is now angling for a swift departure from the club.

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano:

The former Arsenal and Chelsea man is understood to have made his intention to move on known to both boss Marco Silva, and the Cottagers’ board.

The final say on the transfer, in turn, now lies with Fulham themselves.
