As 101 covered on Tuesday, a move to Chelsea looks likely for Santos wonderkid Angelo Gabriel, with the Blues committing to spend β¬15 million to secure his services and add him to their burgeoning ranks of talented youngsters.
Now, a second Brazilian star is been tipped for a Stamford Bridge switch.
The player in question is Matheus Franca.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have scheduled a new round of talks for Franca with Brazilian outfit, Flamengo.
In terms of a transfer fee, Romano adds that Chelsea are trying to negotiate for a β¬20m fee, while Flamengo want at least β¬25m.
Franca, 19, is a product of Flamengoβs youth system and has so far notched 53 appearances for their senior side. In said games, he has scored nine goals.
Like Angelo Gabriel, Franca is not expected to see much first-team action when/if he first makes the move to Stamford Bridge. But Chelsea are putting together quite the group of wonderkids for the future.
