Barcelona transfer news: Kante set for move, right-back targeted & more

First up, According to SPORT, Barcelona have ‘practically closed’ N’Golo Kante’s transfer from Chelsea. The French midfielder’s season has been shrouded with injuries that saw him sidelined for a major chunk of the season.

And with Kante’s contract expiring in England, a switch looked inevitable. The Spanish outfit have practically reached an agreement with Kante’s agents and the veteran midfielder could join the Catalans in January.

Next, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Catalan giants are in the hunt to sign Denzel Dumfries next summer. The Dutch defender’s stock has sky-rocketed after a glittering World Cup campaign.

The report further suggests that the Blaugrana would have to shell out 60m for Dumfries’ signature. The Spanish heavyweights will enter the transfer market looking to sign a right-back, and Dumfries could fulfil Xavi’s requirements.

Elsewhere, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have been monitoring Morocco’s Azzedine Ounahi following his excellent displays at the FIFA World Cup.

Barcelona are following Ounahi with a view to making a move for him in the upcoming January transfer window.

And finally, according to El Nacional, Barcelona are looking to make a move for England and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford once his contract expires at the end of the season.

However, Manchester United do have a one-year extension, which they look set to take.
