Arsenal’s search for a new striker has received a fresh update on Saturday, as it has been revealed how much the Gunners would have to pay to land Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen is currently plying his trade in Serie A with Napoli, where he has scored 26 and assisted eight in 57 outings to date.
16 of those goals have come in 27 outings across all competitions this term – a solid record and one much better than any of Arsenal’s current striker options.
So, how much would the north Londoners need to cough up to land the Nigerian? Well, according to journalist James Benge, Napoli want at least €80m for their star striker:
Napoli want at least €80m if they are to consider selling Victor Osimhen. He is among the many strikers Arsenal have been tracking over recent months.

Would such an outlay be worth it? That is hard to say, but it is fairly obvious that Arsenal will need to bring in at least one striker this summer.
Gabriel Jesus gives Mikel Arteta verdict
And now, previous comments on the part of Jesus regarding Gunners boss Mikel Arteta have re-emerged:
“He’s helped a lot of players. When I want to do finishing after training, I tell him and he comes and helps me,” Jesus said of Arteta during the Spaniard’s time as a coach at Man City.
“So he is really fantastic for us. All the players know that — everyone knows that in the club. He is a fantastic guy and fantastic manager. I don’t honestly know what he thinks about his career, that is for him. I hope he can find his way and I hope he can be happy.”
