Arsenal & Liverpool among clubs interested in relegated star

A number of top Premier League clubs are circling around a now relegated player.

Southampton’s Romeo Lavia is attracting interest from Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, according to Football Insider.

FI add that Liverpool have earmarked Lavia as a potential signing, with now Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino also thought to be a huge fan of the teenager.

As for Arsenal, it is claimed the Gunners are considering a move for Lavia, although they have other priorities.

The final side interested is Manchester City, who know they may have to activate the buy-back clause that was part of his sale last summer.

Lavia joined Southampton from Manchester City over the summer and had a superb start to life with the Saints, including playing a key role in a 2-1 win over Chelsea.

The Belgian was then sidelined with a hamstring problem after that game but has now made a return to regular first-team football.
