Since the arrival of Thomas Partey at Arsenal, the midfielder has experienced numerous injury problems which have plagued his Gunners career.
Having missed just seven games for Atletico Madrid in more than five years in the senior squad, Partey has been unavailable for 39 Arsenal games, more than a full Premier League season, with seven separate issues.
His latest injury issue came in February and saw him miss games vs Manchester City and Aston Villa, whilst only featuring for six minutes vs Leicester and 45 minutes vs Everton.
But he has now returned to the XI and played a key role in Arsenal’s last win.
The north Londoners went 2-0 down to Bournemouth on Saturday but were able to win 3-2, with Partey scoring their first of the day.
Now, the midfielder has provided an explanation for his injury woes:
“I am working on everything, I am trying my best. I am trying to help the team any time I can. When I am ready and fit, I will be ready to help the team.”
