Gabriel Martinelli joined exclusive club during Arsenal vs Fulham

Fulham and Arsenal are currently locked in Premier League action.

Arsenal headed into the match still sat top of the table.

However, after Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in Saturday’s late kick-off, Arsenal needed a win to restore their five-point lead atop of the Premier League.

Fulham, though, have been in solid form since their latest return to the top-flight and were expected to prove a stern test for Arsenal.

But the Gunners will have taken some solace from the fact they had won seven and drawn two of the last nine Premier League matches against Fulham.

At the time of writing, Arsenal are leading the tie after a dominant start.

Gabriel opened the scoring for the north Londoners after 21 minutes, heading in a Leandro Trossard corner.

This was followed six minutes later by Trossard’s lofted pass into the box being headed in by Gabriel Martinelli.

After Arsenal’s second of the day, it was revealed that Martinelli has scored 23 goals for Arsenal in the Premier League, levelling Nicolas Anelka’s total for league goals scored for the club while 21 or under. Only teammate Bukayo Saka (27) has scored more goals whilst 21 or under.

Who has kept the most clean sheets in a single Premier League season?
