Crystal Palace team news and predicted XI vs Fulham

Crystal Palace Team News

  • Out: Wilfried Zaha, Luka Milivojević, Nathan Ferguson, James Tomkins
  • Doubt: Jeffrey Schlupp

Roy Hodgson’s magic touch at Crystal Palace was just the tonic for the London outfit since his return to Selhurst Park in the wake of Patrick Vieira’s departure, with the Eagles now well clear of the bottom three and guaranteed of another fight in the top flight of English football next season.

Palace has picked up points in four of their last six league fixtures and could even leapfrog Chelsea into 11th by the end of the season, and though a top-half finish is not on the cards, the pieces are still in place for a possible push next term which may even include Wilfried Zaha after the Ivorian star is now thought to be considering a contract extension with the club.

Regarding the weekend clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage, Hodgson will, unfortunately, be without the aforementioned Zaha due to injury, along with Luka Milivojević, Nathan Ferguson, James Tomkins. Zaha’s absence means it is likely that the veteran English manager will turn to French striker Odsonne Édouard while adjusting the teamsheet to keep Ghanaian veteran Jordan Ayew in the XI. Midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp is a doubt here, and should he not pass fit, is likely to be replaced by Will Hughes.
