Cristiano Ronaldo joins two exclusive clubs after goal for Manchester United vs Arsenal

Cristiano Ronaldo has found himself joining two altogether exclusive clubs after his goal for Manchester United vs Arsenal.

United are currently locked in Premier League action with the Gunners at the Emirates.

The Red Devils were aware ahead of kick-off that they needed to avoid defeat in the clash to stand any chance of securing a top-four spot come the end of the campaign.

However, at the time of writing, the afternoon's visitors are losing 2-1. The Manchester powerhouse endured an awful start to the game with some poor defending from Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Diogo Dalot allowing Arsenal to surge into a 2-0 lead.

But whilst Man United as a collective have struggled, Cristiano Ronaldo has looked impressive.

The Portuguese has made a number of clever passes to teammates and would pull a goal back for United a few minutes after Arsenal’s second:

And, following that goal, Ronaldo has officially joined the Premier League 100 club, becoming just the 32nd player in the history of the PL to net 100 goals in the division.

Elsewhere, it has also been revealed that since the 2003-04 season, the Portuguese has become one of just four players to score 100+ goals in two of Europe's big-five leagues:
