The youngster joined the Blues in January before returning to former club Vasco da Gama on loan for the rest of the season.
Santos is now in line to make his senior Brazil debut after earning a first call-up to the squad.
Santos recently captained Brazil to success at the South American Under-20 Championship and is looking to make the step up this month.
And ahead of Brazil’s latest set of games getting underway, Santos’ father has revealed that it is one of the players the 18-year-old could be lining up alongside who is his idol:
“He targets Casemiro a lot,” Andre Santos told UOL. “It’s part of his position. Possibly they can play together for a few minutes there.”
Casemiro is, of course, currently plying his trade with one of Chelsea’s rivals, Manchester United.
