Brentford boss Frank heaps praise on Arsenal’s William Saliba

Arsenal’s up-and-coming defender has been tipped to establish himself as first-choice for world champions France

Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has, on Sunday evening, revealed his admiration for Arsenal star William Saliba.

Stopper Saliba, of course, has seen his name take its place front and centre in the English media headlines once more over the course of the day to date.

This comes after the 21-year-old was afforded his latest starting berth by Mikel Arteta, for the club’s trip across London to face Brentford.

And to say that Saliba went on to impress once more would be something of an understatement.

Capping off a near flawless defensive display was the Frenchman’s 2nd goal in Arsenal colours, opening the scoring in west London courtesy of a fine header with 17 minutes on the clock:

Speaking on the back of his side’s defeat at the hands of Arsenal, Saliba’s latest standout display was therefore put to Brentford boss Thomas Frank.

“Saliba… Oooof! He’s going to be a full international player for France, I’m sure. He will be in the starting lineup soon for that National team and that’s a strong national team.”
