Arsenal team news & predicted line-up vs Nottingham Forest

In this piece, we take a look at the latest Arsenal team news ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

After crashing to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton last weekend, Arsenal’s title hopes are now 99.9 per cent over.

The Gunners are four points behind Manchester City with two games to play, whilst City also have a game in hand on the north Londoners.

As a result, if Manchester City win this weekend, they will be crowned champions regardless of the Arsenal result.

But Arsenal will want to win anyway in order to have a strong end to the campaign. They face a Nottingham Forest side still in the relegation battle but a win over the Gunners would secure their safety.

Gabriel Martinelli was injured by Moises Caicedo early in the aforementioned clash with Brighton. He was seen in a protective boot shortly after that challenge and is now set to miss the rest of the season, as confirmed by Mikel Arteta in his press conference on Friday.

Takehiro Tomiyasu, William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko have also already been ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
