Antonio Rudiger has this weekend spoken out on England and Manchester City star Jack Grealish.

Rudiger faced off with Grealish earlier this week in a Nations League tie. England were second best for much of the clash, and probably deserved to lose the game.

However, Jack Grealish came on late in the match, and added some much-needed spark to the Three Lions, nearly setting up Harry Kane for an equaliser minutes after coming on, but he was denied by Manuel Neuer.

England would eventually snatch a late point, with Grealish one of the catalysts behind their fightback.

And now, discussing the game, Rudiger has heaped praise on the City star, labelling Grealish a 'very dangerous player' and someone who can win a game for his side:

“Grealish gave the team a real impact," Rudiger said. "He is a very dangerous player and those sort of players are going to win you games.

"The England squad has great quality. [Bukayo] Saka comes out, Grealish comes in. I saw a lot of big, big names were on the bench. England have a lot to be optimistic about for the future."

On England’s depth, Rudiger added:  "Players like [Marcus] Rashford and [Jadon] Sancho didn’t even make the squad,. You have a lot of depth and you have big players like Harry Kane, [Raheem] Sterling and Grealish."

England will be hoping that Grealish can help them to a win in their next game on Saturday, when they face off with Italy.

Gareth Southgate’s side head into the match sitting bottom of their Nations League Group, with just one point from two games.

However, the table is still fairly tight and a win over Roberto Mancini and co. would put England right back in contention to top the table.
