Seattle Sounders have won eight of ten meetings with Minnesota; the Loons' only victory coming at Allianz Field last July.

Both teams to score is 3/4.

Raúl Ruidíaz has scored three goals in his last three appearances against Minnesota. The Peruvian is 5/1 to break the deadlock and 8/5 to score anytime.

Luis Amarilla is 11/2 to score first and 7/4 to net anytime.

Match preview

Seattle Sounders have finished second in the Western Conference in each of the last five seasons, reaching four of the last six MLS Cups.

However, at this early stage, they're languishing down in 11th.

Brian Schmetzer's side started with back-to-back defeats before a thrilling 3-2 victory over LA Galaxy at Lumen Field.

Then, before the international break, the Sounders were held to a 1-1 draw by Austin FC, taking the lead at Q2 Stadium through Will Bruin.

In fairness, Seattle's main focus has been on CONCACAF Champions League, looking to become the first non-Mexican winners since 2000.

So far, they've dumped out F.C. Motagua 5-0 and then Club León 4-1, so will take on MLS Cup holders NYCFC in the semi-finals later this month.

Before the first leg of that tie in Washington State on Thursday, will the Sounders climb the MLS standings?

Minnesota United meanwhile are unbeaten in 2022, leaving them third in the west.

Adrian Heath's side beat San Jose Quakes 1-0 in their last outing with Luis Amarilla the only scorer in St. Paul.

So, the Loons have scored exactly once in all four games so far but this has seen them accumulate eight points, which represents a decent return.
