Lorient will be aiming to keep up their magical run in Ligue 1 when they head to the Stade Abbe Deschamps this Friday night with the home side looking to move on swiftly from their stunning loss to Rennes.

The 3-2 saw goals from Dango Ouattar, Ibrahima Kone, and Yoann Cathline, and with the club defeating Lyon 3-1 before this and Ajaciio 1-0 before that, they are now on a three-game winning run in contrast to Auxerre’s three losses in a row.
Lorient are now sitting fourth in the league with five wins on the board and just one loss and defeat each. Moreover, they have now scored 14 times in the French top flight, but with 11 goals let in too, there is a bit of concern surrounding their defensive qualities moving forward.
