Bradford City and Rochdale will play out a midweek League Two game as the two sides battle in their game in hand in the fourth tier with the Yorkshire side having a chance to move into fourth and Rochdale up into 22nd.
Ahead of the game, the Dale remain in 23rd and in the bottom two relegation spots and for the first time in many months, the club have their best chance to rocket themselves into the safe zone of League Two.
Rochdale’s four wins so far and 15 defeats mean they have the most losses in the league but with a chance to throw 22nd-placed Hartlepool United into the bottom two. The club, however, are far from the favourites to get all three points here.
The gap is currently two points on Hartlepool, but for Bradford, they are level on points with fourth-placed Carlisle United and can move three clear of them with a win here.
The Bantams’ lack of goals keeps them adrift of four with them netting just 30 compared to Carlisle’s 37. Even just a point here, however, puts the club in fourth and narrowly behind third-placed Northampton Town, for which Bradford have two games in hand over.
