These two teams may have ended up 19 points apart in the League One table, but both are just a two-legged tie away from reaching Wembley on 29 May.

Sheffield Wednesday are in danger of being rooted in England’s third-tier for a third successive season, with this last the case in the late ‘70s.

12 months ago, the Owls were beaten by Sunderland at this stage, so are well aware just how unpredictable play-offs can be.
