Bolton Wanderers will be aiming to keep up their excellent run of form that now sees them in the top six in League One ahead of a trip to the LNER Stadium where Lincoln City are looking to overturn a tough run of form recently.
The Imps registered arguably their worst result of the season when they met with Burton Albion on Boxing Day, as the club lost 3-0 to the team fighting relegation. The loss has now thrown Lincoln down into 14th in the table but with a game in hand on those above them.
Lincoln are still a comfortable eight points above Burton in 23rd, despite the defeat. The Imps have also conceded 26 goals now from 21 games.
Bolton are coming into this game off the back of drawing 0-0 with Derby County and beating Exeter City 2-0.
It has thrown the club into fifth in the table with 10 wins on the board now and a fantastic record of 19 goals conceded.
