Pulisic gets his wish as USA star pens new Milan deal until 2031

Christian Pulisic said it was always his wish to remain with AC Milan after signing a new contract with the club.

The United States forward’s contract was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, though it featured an option for a further year.

But Milan confirmed on Friday that Pulisic had penned fresh terms on the eve of their derby with leaders Inter Milan.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after signing his deal, Pulisic said: “Incredible, I’m really excited, it was always my wish to stay here, to renew here with Milan and I’m really excited for the next few years.

“I always wanted Milan. All the confidence that Milan have put in me from top to bottom has always been top and I’m really happy here.”

Pulisic joined Milan in 2023 after an unsuccessful spell at Chelsea.

He has made 142 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 44 goals and providing 25 assists.

The 28-year-old has two goals to his name already this season and will look to add to his tally in the Derby della Madonnina, which Milan enter seven points behind defending champions Inter.
