The EFL Cup is a tricky competition to predict, given the huge changes Premier League managers usually make to their line-ups. That was in evidence again last night at Fleetwood and is the reason why Wednesday’s Tip of the Day has gone overseas.

The defending champions visit rock-bottom Venezia having dropped two points from their opening eight games. The hosts have won just once – albeit a fine 1-0 triumph over Napoli – but we can’t see a way they repeat that against the Nerazzurri.
