Top clubs from across Europe continued their preparations for the 2026/27 season by playing friendly fixtures on Sunday.
Premier League side Nottingham Forest drew with Portuguese top-flight opponents Vitoria and reigning Italian champions Inter won as part of their training camp in Italy.
Serie A clubs Napoli and Roma were also in action, Paulo Dybala scoring a spectacular free-kick for I Giallorossi.
Dutch giants Ajax beat Burnley, who were relegated to the Championship last season, at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Nottingham Forest vs Vitoria: Igor Jesus scores
Forest took a first-half lead as part of their training camp in Portugal when Igor Jesus scored following an Ola Aina attempt.
Vitoria, who finished ninth last season, earned a 1-1 draw through Miguel Nogueira’s second-half penalty after Tyler Bindon’s challenge on Zeega.
Forest have not made their line-up public.
Cannes vs Roma: Dybala double, Wesley red card
Paulo Dybala’s superb free-kick and assist for Donyell Malen to strike inside the box put Roma 2-0 ahead in Cannes, where Wesley received a second booking for Gian Piero Gasperini’s team during first-half added time.
Forward Dybala charged inside the box and slotted in his second after the break, but Julian Lopez’s glorious volley from a corner and finish from closer range launched the hosts’ comeback.
Brice Oggad’s added-time penalty – awarded for an Artem Dovbyk foul – completed the scoring in a 3-3 draw worthy of a city synonymous with the cinematic.

Napoli vs Carrarese: Hojlund goal helps Allegri off mark
Max Allegri won for the first time as Napoli manager with a 2-0 victory against second-tier side Carrarese in Carciato.
Matteo Politano struck the crossbar for the Serie A club early on and Fabio Abiuso followed suit at the other end before Rasmus Hojlund tapped in and Antonio Vergara converted a penalty during the first half.
Vergara, who has just signed a new deal until 2031, was withdrawn during the second period with a knee injury.

Ajax vs Burnley: Bouwman, Ouazane give hosts win
Michel Sanchez’s first home match as Ajax manager ended with a 2-1 win over Burnley, taking an early lead through 18-year-old defender Aaron Bouwman’s close-range strike.
Dutch forward Jaydon Banel equalised for Burnley with a deflection during the second half, but 17-year-old Amsterdammers midfielder Abdellah Ouazane tucked in the winner five minutes later.

Scottish title hopefuls Rangers and relegated Premier League side West Ham shared a 0-0 draw in front of more than 48,000 fans at Ibrox, including 2,600 visiting supporters.
Home goalkeeper Ivor Pandur denied James Ward-Prowse twice, with counterpart Mads Hermansen saving from Mohamed Diomande, Thelo Aasgaard, Tochi Chukwani and Lawrence Shankland.
