West Ham United vs TSC Backa Topola match preview
One of the more one-sided looking fixtures of the opening round of this season’s Europa League campaign is set to play out at the London Stadium on Thursday, September 21st.
The matchup in question will see West Ham United act as hosts, in a meeting with TSC Backa Topola.
Beginning with the former, West Ham, of course, will be hopeful of building on the most successful season in the club’s European history last time out.
This comes after David Moyes’ troops marched all the way to glory in the Europa Conference League.
Since, the Irons have kicked the new term into gear in impressive fashion, too, to the tune of three wins and one defeat from five in the Premier League.
The solitary loss on their record did come this past weekend, though, as a home meeting with champions Manchester City saw Moyes and co. surrender a first-half advantage, en route to a 3-1 result.

Safe to say, then, that upcoming opponents Backa Topola will have their work very much cut out for them in east London.
Backa, for their part, were condemned to life in the Europa League after seeing the club’s unlikely Champions League pursuit brought to an end in ruthless fashion, by seven goals to one at the hands of Braga.
On the domestic front, though, the Serbian outfit have continued to roll.
Zarko Lazetic’s side are sitting pretty of the SuperLiga at present, three points clear of 2nd-place.
This comes owing to a head-turning record of six wins and a draw from seven.
Not only that, but, over the weekend, Backa took their goal difference to a hefty +12, after putting six past Zeleznicar Pancevo at the TSC Arena.
And yet, despite such impressive domestic endeavours, we at 101 simply cannot see past West Ham United as the eventual victors come the full-time whistle at the London Stadium on Thursday night.
