Leicester City vs Hull City match preview
Early Championship pace-setters Leicester City will be hopeful of making it five wins on the spin to open the season when they return to action this Saturday, September 2nd.
This comes as the Foxes prepare to welcome Hull City to the King Power Stadium.
Enzo Maresca’s troops, of course, have enjoyed a fine go of things, since suffering relegation back to the 2nd tier of English football.
All told, in six outings across all competitions, they have maintained a perfect record, the only Championship outfit to have managed as much.
Most recently, on the league front, Leicester made the trip to Rotherham United, last weekend.
And, when all was said and done, a double on the part of Kasey McAteer proved enough to guide the visitors to the right side of a 2-1 scoreline.
Safe to say, then, that Saturday’s hosts will head into the day’s action with confidence brimming in the camp.

Hopeful of bringing an end to Leicester’s unbeaten run, though, will be a Hull City side in the midst of a solid recent run of form of their own.
The Tigers, since an opening day defeat to high-flying Norwich City, have managed seven points from an available nine in the Championship.
After putting four past bottom-of-the-table Sheffield Wednesday, Liam Rosenior’s men followed up with a comeback downing of Blackburn Rovers, too.
Hull therefore no doubt headed into last weekend’s home meeting with Bristol City confident in their chances of making it three wins on the spin.
When all was said and done, however, the Tigers were forced to settle for a point, Ozan Tufan’s early opener cancelled out by Nahki Wells late on.
Nevertheless, Rosenior and co. find themselves in 8th in the table, just two points off the promotion playoff pace.
So, all of this considered, how do we at 101 envision Saturday’s action playing out at the King Power?
Whilst visitors Hull should certainly not be ruled out, we find it hard to see past Leicester as the likely eventual victors.
